About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the WFI Sales organization and drive the company’s national growth strategy
  • Establish the Sales vision and operating strategy
  • Determine the optimal Sales organizational structure
  • Develop and coach sales leaders
  • Strengthen performance management and build a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement
  • Own and execute the national Sales strategy to accelerate participating dealer growth and funded loan contracts
  • Set and monitor sales objectives, priorities, KPIs, and performance expectations
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share, increase dealer penetration, and grow funded loan volume
  • Evaluate market trends, dealer needs, competitive activity, and growth opportunities
  • Assess organizational health and lead initiatives to increase sales effectiveness
  • Recruit, develop, retain, and coach sales leaders and sales professionals
  • Strengthen automotive dealer relationships and improve the dealer experience
  • Represent WFI with key dealer relationships and strategic partners
  • Partner with Risk, Funding, Dealer Relations, Sales Training, Technology, and Operations
  • Improve WFI products, processes, and dealer experience while balancing growth with target risk profile
  • Influence enterprise resources and align teams around common objectives
  • Establish sales metrics and reporting
  • Optimize sales processes, systems, tools, and workflows
  • Partner with Sales Training on onboarding, development, coaching, and sales effectiveness
  • Evolve sales incentive programs
  • Leverage technology and data to improve sales productivity, visibility, and execution
  • Travel nationwide approximately 1–2 weeks per month

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience leading and scaling a Sales organization
  • Demonstrated success driving dealer growth, production, market expansion, or other measurable sales growth
  • Experience developing sales strategies, organizational structures, performance metrics, and incentive programs
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and talent-development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable while building a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in automotive finance, indirect lending, consumer finance, fintech, automotive retail, dealer services, or a related industry preferred
  • Experience working with a dealer receivables management or dealer finance business model preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive dealer operations and dealer finance preferred
  • Familiarity with DealerCenter preferred
  • Familiarity with the Nowlake Group of Companies preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
