About the role

  • Manage and optimize supplier and operational programs to improve bottom line and protect organization
  • Design, develop and implement risk strategies, policies and procedures for third-party assessment, onboarding, monitoring, and optimization
  • Oversee end-to-end third-party lifecycle: vendor selection, due diligence, contract and SLA management, performance monitoring and evaluation
  • Strengthen end-to-end supply chain risk resiliency via strategic initiatives, technology, mitigation plans, policy implementation, monitoring and reporting
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain/Procurement and broader operations to ensure cohesive risk resiliency plans and rapid issue mitigation
  • Ensure third-party risk practices adhere to company policies and relevant regulations; manage audits and remediation
  • Mature and digitalize risk/compliance KPIs and performance metrics; conduct vendor performance reviews and implement corrective actions
  • Lead change management, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across risk programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, finance, supply chain or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • At least 10 years of work experience
  • At least 5 years in leadership
  • Experience in risk management, procurement, compliance or supplier governance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of third-party management, risk resiliency, governance processes, regulatory requirements
  • Strategic thinker with ability to build and execute strategic plans and articulate vision to executives
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision making
  • Strong program management skills and ability to hold others accountable
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain/Procurement)
  • Experience with change management, process improvement, monitoring and reporting
