About the role
- Management of Retail Chargeback program
- Investigating and data analyzing chargebacks
- Recurring trend analysis
- Projecting customer penalties and process documentation
- Subject matter expert on retailer programs
- Supporting process improvement initiatives
- Reducing financial losses from invalid chargebacks
- Validating claims from retail partners
- Review of Retail routing guides, SLAs, and penalty clauses
- Driving chargeback data scraping and running complex operational data analysis
- Developing reporting dashboards and conducting business reporting to management
- Researching chargeback disputes using documentation
- Collaborating with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Filing and tracking chargeback disputes within deadlines
- Maintaining detailed and organized records of chargeback activities
- Identifying trends and recommending process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in chargeback resolution, accounts receivable, or retail deductions (consumer goods, retail, or distribution industry preferred)
- Strong skills in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with major retailers’ compliance portals (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon, Costco, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with Retailer Systems such as navigating Retailer platforms (e.g., Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Retail Link, Target Partners Online, Best Buy Partner Portal), Chargeback management tools or internal ticketing systems
- Experience in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and Transportation Management Systems (OTM)
