About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain analytical frameworks and key assumptions across Treasury functions, including ALM, FTP, Capital, and Liquidity
- Lead the testing and implementation of QRM modeling enhancements
- Provide oversight of Treasury data analytics
- Partner closely with Information Technology to ensure stable, well governed business as usual (BAU) model operations
- Work closely with Data Governance groups to analyze and maintain complex data mappings between the General Ledger, data warehouse, and Treasury systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Manage Data Management Repository to support all the model input data requirements
- Play an integral, hands-on role in building and testing QRM model enhancements, assumption updates, and estimate related impacts on key metrics such as EVE, NII and FTP
- Provide oversight and coordination of changes across multiple Treasury teams (IRR, Forecast, FTP) to ensure alignment, effective collaboration, and timely implementation in ALM system
- Operate effectively in a fast‑paced BAU environment by troubleshooting data issues, setup or modelling related changes within QRM
- Collaborate with second line of defense teams including Model Risk Management to support oversight and governance
- Maintain vendor relationships with QRM and supporting Treasury systems, and coordinate ongoing system maintenance, model updates and issue resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of related experience in Corporate Treasury and Asset/Liability Mgmt., Accounting, Portfolio Management or similar fields
- Bachelor's degree in related field required, Masters or MBA in related field preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Experience in Asset Liability/Financial Risk management role involving balance sheet modeling in a U.S. regulated commercial banking, investment banking, or consumer credit environment
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
- Certified Treasury Professional preferred
- Chartered Financial Analysts preferred
- Certified Public Accountant preferred
- Occasional travel required
