About the role
- manage the complete lifecycle of the assigned suite of banking products within the Bank's commercial product portfolio
- assist with developing and executing the Bank's Product strategy and roadmap in conjunction with business partners
- provide hands-on, product-level leadership
- lead a team of Product Analysts to perform or coordinate the work from product concept and business case analysis to technical development and introduction
- complete market research to monitor trends, develop reports for key stakeholders and recommendations on product suite and pricing strategy
- partner with the Product Management leadership to execute the Bank's strategic plan
- meet product development objectives, manage product health, and responsiveness to market dynamics
- support the product lifecycle process
- lead the research, analysis, design, development, pricing, and implementation of new products, and modification and enhancements to existing products
- ensure the product suite's success in managing product health and effectiveness
- assist management in identifying, assessing and implementing risk control procedures for assigned products and channels
- foster strong, healthy working relationships with senior leaders in partner departments
- lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience in Product Management, Treasury Management Sales or similar field
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Previous leadership experience required
- Advanced knowledge of general financial services or banking products and services
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management, credit cards, as well as pricing dynamics
- Market specific awareness
- Advanced experience with Product Management Methodology including new product launches, road mapping, business cases, product enhancements, communication and marketing plans, and robust executive management presentations and reporting development
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
- Occasional travel required
