About the role

  • manage the complete lifecycle of the assigned suite of banking products within the Bank's commercial product portfolio.
  • assist with developing and executing the Bank's Product strategy and roadmap in conjunction with business partners
  • provide hands-on, product-level leadership needed to realize concepts and potential key innovations into tangible, profitable products.
  • lead a cross-functional team of analysts, IT, Operations, and Vendor partnership to perform or coordinate the work from product concept and business case analysis to technical development and introduction.
  • complete market research to monitor trends, develop reports for key stakeholders and recommendations on product suite and pricing strategy.
  • partner with the Product Management leadership to execute the Bank's strategic plan.
  • meet product development objectives and manage product health.
  • support the product lifecycle process and executing their work within the department's standards on deliverables for business case development, business requirement gathering, product design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • lead the research, analysis, design, development, pricing, and implementation of new products, and modification and enhancements to existing products.
  • ensure the product suite's success in managing product health and effectiveness, pro-actively addresses obstacles to product development, product adoption, and complications in service delivery.
  • assist management in identifying, assessing and implementing risk control procedures for assigned products.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience in Product Management, Treasury Management Sales or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of general financial services or banking products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management.
  • Treasury Management core Receivables products, including; Lockbox, Cash Vault, Merchant, RDC, and Online Receivables, as well as pricing dynamics, and Market specific awareness.
  • Advanced experience with Product Management Methodology including new product launches, road mapping, business cases, product enhancements, communication and marketing plans, and robust executive management presentations and reporting development.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
