About the role
- Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers
- Develop credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer and other Executive Management
- Manage spread assignments, conduct financial analyses, and maintain related records and files
- Prepare a variety of credit department reports
- Analyze credit and collateral information to determine risk in lending money
- Collect, organize, analyze company financials to ensure Bank compliance
- Work directly with clients to resolve compliance issues and operational inquiries
- Review client financials and perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk
- Prepare in-depth reports with plans of action based on research
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute treasury management products and legal documents
- Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans
- Facilitate reporting and requests on behalf of the Bank with third parties
- Monitor loan disbursements to ensure compliance
Requirements
- 2+ years of related experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics or similar field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge and understanding of financial statements and ability to analyze business and financial data
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
