About the role

  • Guide technology delivery teams and business users in the implementation of enterprise data architecture
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data governance, and enterprise architects
  • Build and enhance data warehouse and analytics data model definition and standards
  • Deliver end-to-end data architecture and data models for Regulatory Reporting
  • Oversee and validate the design for data flows, integration, and analytics solutions
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Integrate data governance and quality controls into architecture and design
  • Work with business and technology leaders to identify new data assets
  • Contribute to architecture artifacts related to enterprise data platforms
  • Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years in a data or platform architecture role
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations
  • Intermediate experience working with Enterprise Architecture Governance principles and processes
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in Enterprise Architecture function spanning business, technology, engineering areas
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
  • Intermediate experience in Cloud Computing Platforms – Azure
  • Intermediate experience in the use of data modeling toolset such as Erwin
  • Deep understanding & experience in designing & implementing modern solutions related to data visualization, data modeling, data transformation, and analytics
  • Experience designing & deploying applications into public cloud services and consuming value add PaaS data and analytics services (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Significant experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trust as a thought leader
