About the role
- responsible for supporting several large business units
- helping the management team to build and maintain a talented, highly capable workforce
- provide direct day-to-day direction to your team while coaching and guiding managers
- build strong partnerships with assigned business units and serve as the point person for all HR matters
- advise employees at various levels including the executive level on resolving workplace challenges
- support the Director of Human Resources in achieving strategic objectives
- conduct complex, detailed investigations and partner with legal counsel as appropriate
- assist with the production of reports and analyses for executive management
- guide leaders and managers through change management processes
- support and promote HR programs and partners
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Previous leadership experience required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Intermediate to advanced Human Resources strategies for performance management, recruiting, talent development, total rewards, organizational effectiveness
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
- May require up to 25% travel
