About the role

  • responsible for supporting several large business units
  • helping the management team to build and maintain a talented, highly capable workforce
  • provide direct day-to-day direction to your team while coaching and guiding managers
  • build strong partnerships with assigned business units and serve as the point person for all HR matters
  • advise employees at various levels including the executive level on resolving workplace challenges
  • support the Director of Human Resources in achieving strategic objectives
  • conduct complex, detailed investigations and partner with legal counsel as appropriate
  • assist with the production of reports and analyses for executive management
  • guide leaders and managers through change management processes
  • support and promote HR programs and partners

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Intermediate to advanced Human Resources strategies for performance management, recruiting, talent development, total rewards, organizational effectiveness
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • May require up to 25% travel
