About the role

  • Interns will be learning about and assisting with the accounting aspects of the Title Insurance industry.
  • This Intern will work on a variety of critical business assignments.
  • This opportunity will draw on your academic knowledge, while connecting your interests to real world job expectations.
  • You will gain knowledge and experience with an industry leader, while learning how to seek out details, make informed decisions, and help develop resolutions.
  • The goal is to ensure you gain a firsthand understanding of an Accounting or Finance career at Westcor, by assisting our accounting and finance professionals.

Requirements

  • An interest and willingness to learn about the Title Insurance, Mortgage, Real Estate, Financial, or related industries.
  • The ability to solve problems, be detailed oriented and be conscientious about all work completed.
  • An ingrained concern for the customer and representing Westcor in a professional manner.
  • The potential to excel in the following competencies: communication, customer focus, ethics & integrity, teamwork & adaptability, productivity & initiative.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience conducting research.
  • Very task-oriented.
  • Self-starter.
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
