About the role

  • Support key Procurement Operations activities and oversee the procurement process
  • Manage the conversion of requisitions to purchase orders
  • Handle queries related to the purchase process
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities
  • Involved in cross functional projects affecting strategic sourcing, procurement and finance operations
  • Support procurement leadership function and VP Strategic Sourcing
  • Administer all activities related to PO requisition process
  • Review, generate, convert, and send accurate purchase orders
  • Monitor and update open purchase orders regularly
  • Coordinate & deliver training sessions to Requisitioner
  • Work with accounts payable team to reduce exceptions
  • Manage queries related to goods or service entry receipts
  • Update supplier data and ensure adherence to policies

Requirements

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 3 years related business experience required
  • SAP Experience or other major ERP
  • Six Sigma knowledge preferred
  • Medical device manufacturing experience preferred
  • Certification from the Institute of Supply Management (C.P.M.), Project Management or similar experience
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and MS Project programs
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and interpret complex business situations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must have experience in a highly technical & regulated industry
