About the role
- Support planning and delivery of cross‑functional procurement programs and PMO initiatives
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and keep projects progressing
- Conduct research and data analysis to inform sourcing and program decisions
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Track program performance, benefits, and report updates to leadership
- Ensure compliance with procurement standards and maintain governance documentation
- Develop and maintain project management templates, frameworks, and dashboards
- Support system testing, data cleanup, and other ad‑hoc activities
- Partner with PLT, D&T, and DBI on key digital initiatives
- Assist deployment and integration of eProcurement and PMO systems; translate business needs into technical requirements
- Drive adoption of digital tools through change management and training
- Maintain dashboards, templates, and frameworks to strengthen transparency and decision‑making
- Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and AI across procurement
Requirements
- 3rd level qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience in technology deployment, integration or digital transformation initiatives
- Proven experience supporting programs, projects and/or process improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Robust project management skills and capabilities (Gantt charts, dashboards, key deliverables, business case and baseline development)
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to efficiently organize forums and coordinate communication with team members
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools and/or Lean Six Sigma is preferred
- Preferred Shared Service Centre experience with multinational publicly quoted company experience
- Strong proficiency in MS-Office tools (specifically, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
- Can work independently, within a team, and collaboratively across teams
- Openness for new initiatives, fast learner, proactive
- Eagerness to learn, grow and upskill within the procurement function or other roles within West
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deadlines in an ever-changing environment.
- Able to comply with the company’s safety, quality, compliance & ethics policies at all times.
