About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the training team in fostering a culture of lifelong learning and supporting a positive associate learning experience
- Manage a team of trainers and other assigned teams through mentorship, guidance, and professional development support
- Oversee performance management, career development, and training of team members
- Manage research, development, and delivery of training content for insurance coverage and learning pillars
- Apply adult learning principles to instructional design and training delivery
- Evaluate and implement approaches to make learning experiences more accessible, agile, and impactful
- Design and manage training programs for new and experienced associates focused on knowledge and key technical skills
- Develop training plans for new product and service rollouts
- Analyze training effectiveness for continuous improvement
- Identify learning needs with leadership and stakeholders and develop customized training solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build relationships and develop enterprise-wide training opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8 years of experience in insurance or training
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop others
- Analytical and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field
- Associate in General Insurance designation(s)
