About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs across departments
- Partner with executive leadership to define program objectives, KPIs, and success metrics
- Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, and status reports
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with broader business goals
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and stakeholder accountability
- Coordinate with business units, technology teams, and external partners
- Resolve cross-functional issues, clarify dependencies, and eliminate bottlenecks
- Analyze program performance and implement process enhancements
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and program updates
- Manage program budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships as needed
- Track performance, analyze KPIs, and adjust programs as needed
- Help manage organizational changes associated with programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in program management, process improvement, strategic planning, and business operations
- Knowledge of P&C insurance systems and products preferred
- Proven experience managing large, complex, cross-functional programs
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking and tactical execution ability
- Written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in agile program management methodologies and tools
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, provide guidance, and foster collaboration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Ability to interact with business and technical resources for problem resolution
- Ability to maintain customer/client/sponsor satisfaction while maintaining project controls
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
- Master's or similar advanced degree preferred
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project/program management certification is a plus
