About the role

Senior Accountant responsible for entry, analysis and maintenance of the general ledger and improving financial reporting and internal controls
Prepare support for audits and assist in quarterly and annual financial statement preparation
Post journal entries in ERP system and reconcile various accounts
Analyze payroll transactions, prepare journal entries, and reconcile payroll liability accounts
Perform budget-to-actual analysis on certain accounts
Serve as primary contact for lease accounting (ASC 842) and prepare monthly journal entries
Prepare inter-company invoices, reconcile inter-company records, manage asset disposals and assist with treasury transactions
Maintain accounting databases with emphasis on budget and forecast data
Document financial actions and key processes; draft accounting memorandums supporting accounting treatment positions
Reconcile financial discrepancies and substantiate transactions by auditing documents
Assist in developing internal control structure and provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by leadership

Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or equivalent work experience required
CPA certification preferred
Minimum 4 years of practical experience in public or corporate accounting
Preferred minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience with responsibilities in general accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting auditing
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Knowledge of JD Edwards (E1) or other ERP systems preferred
Knowledge of report writing systems (e.g., BPC, Planning Analytics, OneStream)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
