About the role
- Primary customer/merchant point of contact for the ProDriven Global Brands Strategic Retail business.
Identify and develop areas of sales growth and profit enhancement over the short, medium and long term with this key business.
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
Develop goals and action plans with Director of Sales and customer to ensure market-share and profitability objectives.
Implement marketing plans and programs to achieve financial objectives and product innovations at customers’ corporate level and key buying groups nationwide.
Target key buying groups, assist identifying areas of opportunity, develop relationships and customer-centric plans to bring Werner sales-driving solutions.
Lead marketing, promotional and sales efforts at trade shows and events.
Develop market intelligence to capitalize on business opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
Lead and collaborate in preparation of customer presentations including annual and strategic business and marketing plans.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers creating a collaborative selling environment.
Provide training and instruction on products, selling functions, and administration to Customers, Manufacturers Rep Agencies, and internal personnel.
Conduct periodic meetings and audits to determine effectiveness of competitive efforts and achievement of business performance objectives.
Serve as bench-building role with additional special projects to support and grow hardware/strategic retail channel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline preferred or equivalent work experience
4-6 years of business experience with increasing responsibilities in planning, marketing, and sales in the hardware, home center and/or retail channels
Demonstrated experience and execution in achievement of market share growth and profitability improvement for a $20M+ divisional business unit.
