About the role

Develop drive-by-wire functions and software with redundancy and diagnosis
Perform electrical and software integration and introduction of drive-by-wire systems on new autonomous vehicle platforms
Ensure reliable vehicle operation of drive-by-wire actuators in all modes across various vehicle platforms
Troubleshoot, triage, and provide diagnostic support for field issues related to the vehicle control system
Collaborate with industry leaders on impactful projects and apply engineering knowledge in hands-on tasks
Participate in mentorship, training, team-building activities, and interactive workshops to expand skills

BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field
Proficient in Embedded C; C++ is a must
Strong understanding of one or more: brake/steering/propulsion actuators, CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols, vehicle ECU embedded development
Experience with CAN tools like CANalyzer/CANoe and CAPL scripting
Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and cross-functional team collaboration abilities
Passion for innovation in the autonomous vehicle industry
Successful candidates must be available to work in the office five days a week
Available for a 12-week (3-month) internship starting Aug/Sept 2025
