About the role
- Develop standalone services/microservices to meet specific business rules
- Design easy-to-understand, well-documented APIs
- Build scalable, maintainable solutions with a focus on automation
- Collaborate on architectural organization to keep the environment functioning harmoniously
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a development-related field
- Strong analytical skills and commitment to high-quality code
- Several years of experience in software development
- Knowledge of Java 8+, Git, and a relational database
- Affinity for other technologies (Node.js, React, Angular, etc.) and willingness to learn by doing
- Experience using REST APIs
- And it will be a plus if you:
- Some experience with core cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes
- Experience working with agile teams (SCRUM)
- Experience with automated unit testing (JUnit)
- Experience testing and improving scalability
