About the role

  • Grow the commercial pipeline by identifying and engaging potential clients through CRM tools, networking, cold calling, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and drive new business opportunities.
  • Engage with prospective customers on behalf of WEP Clinical to introduce services and build relationships.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and provide regular updates to management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to support revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Maintain and report on account status, leads, and results to the BD leadership team.
  • Coordinate with the broader Business Development team to prepare for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Represent WEP Clinical professionally at conferences, trade shows, and congresses, while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Project Management, Regulatory, Data, and PV teams to support campaigns and client solutions.
  • Support proposals, pricing, CRM updates, and BD team initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (in a Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, or Finance field preferred)
  • 4-7 years business development or sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence and ability to reach out to cold opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy and proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint
