About the role
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned R&D/CTS customers, managing all forms of communication (email, phone, virtual meetings) and acting as the single point of contact for account needs.
- Prepare, review, and submit product quotes, proposals, and commercial documentation in line with client requirements and company pricing policies.
- Drive account growth by identifying and developing opportunities to expand services and product usage within existing client accounts.
- Coordinate internally with global Sourcing/Procurement, Warehouse/Operations, Inside Sales, and other teams to ensure seamless product supply and timely delivery.
- Support the R&D/Clinical Trial Sourcing team to develop and execute plans designed to increase revenue and capture new opportunities.
- Generate and process purchase orders, maintain accurate quote and order documentation, and ensure proper follow-through until order completion.
- Manage customer qualification and requalification processes in alignment with internal compliance and quality requirements.
- Maintain and develop partnerships through targeted propositions and consultative sales methods to optimize service quality, client satisfaction, and business growth.
- Assist with customer documentation and review CTS marketing materials as needed.
- Contribute to achieving monthly sales and profit targets by supporting revenue-generating activities and measurable sales growth initiatives.
- Work in accordance with current GDP guidelines and WEP Clinical’s Quality Management System.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, Finance, or related field preferred)
- 4-7 years’ experience in customer account management, business development, or a related commercial role
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, lead meetings, and initiate outreach to prospects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM platforms/software
