About the role
- Lead a high-impact backend engineering team powering airfare optimization products
- Help the team move fast and build smart
- Build systems that are reliable and scalable
- Solve real customer problems and drive business impact
- Review code, troubleshoot production issues, or explore new technical directions alongside the team
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including building and scaling backend systems
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
- A strong track record of delivering production-grade systems end-to-end — from design through deployment
- A collaborative approach to leadership
- Comfortable being hands-on when needed
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS is a plus)
- Familiarity with large-scale data or distributed systems is a strong advantage
- Experience with Python (or similar languages) and modern backend architecture
