About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategic new-business acquisition: You identify and win enterprise clients in the retail sector — from initial outreach and persuasive concept presentations, through contract signing to the successful expansion of the account.
  • Customer centricity: You understand your clients’ business goals — from Head of Expansion to C‑level — and position Wemolo as a strategic partner. With tailored solutions and a confident presence at executive level, you help them navigate complex challenges.
  • Account management: You build and develop long-term partnerships with decision-makers and manage your accounts strategically. You recognize potential — and realize it.
  • Goal tracking & reporting: You work with clear targets and structures, maintain full transparency of your pipeline, and translate its status into forecasts and account plans. You develop appropriate actions to achieve your annual target. Together with the team, you take our retail sales to the next level.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You work closely with your retail team and other areas such as SDRs, Marketing and Customer Success to optimize customer experiences and identify new market opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Background: You bring at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales and have successfully acquired and managed enterprise clients. Your expertise covers complex sales processes in demanding market segments.
  • Experience: You demonstrate a partnership-oriented approach and build customer relationships that deliver real value. You master the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and proposal development to closing and long-term retention.
  • Data-driven working: You are not only strong on the relationship side, but also have your own data (pipeline, forecasting, etc.) under control. In addition, you have a solid understanding of analytics and how to use or commission them for your clients.
  • Communication: With a strong personal presence, you are able to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Language skills: You have C2-level German skills and business-fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Travel readiness: You hold a valid Class B driving license and are willing to travel regularly within Germany (approx. 10%).
