About the role

  • Develop technical connection solutions for the medium- and low-voltage network and independently coordinate their implementation and execution
  • Perform technical review and approval of network projects and connection documentation for commissioning of installations in the MV/LV network
  • Process and document connection projects in the workflow system
  • Create internal planning/project design orders
  • Conduct technical inspections and acceptances in the MV/LV network
  • Support the development of principles for operations management and maintenance
  • Organize material approvals and material provisioning following coordination
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of automation and digitalization approaches in the MV/LV network
  • Assist in preparing and issuing statements as part of regulatory/authority consultations
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of faults in the MV/LV network
  • Take on tasks in network operations at the network service office as required (in the event of faults)
  • Participate in on-call duty
  • Provide cover for other Connections and Operations technicians during their absence

Requirements

  • Completed technician qualification in electrical engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of NIS switching authorization
  • Conceptual thinking and customer-oriented approach
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Confident and persuasive demeanor
  • Valid driver's license (car)
  • Willingness to work in the WEMAG Netz GmbH service area
