About the role
- The Program Manager for Pediatric Cardiology partners with the Physician Medical Director.
- Responsible for providing leadership and facilitating all activities and services across multiple practices regarding care for pediatric cardiology patients.
- Design and align resources to support program initiatives, program development, and maintain relationships with internal and external referring physicians.
- Collaborate with pediatric service line leaders; oversee daily operations for cultural and fiscal standardization.
- Implement protocols for patient identification and follow-up in pediatric cardiology.
Requirements
- Bachelors Nursing Required and Masters Nursing Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years Management/Leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a hospital environment.
- Preferred Minimum 1 year Experience managing pediatric cardiology patients.
- Skills: Physician relations, Consensus-building, Providing leadership, Problem-solving, Clinical expertise and judgment in the management and treatment of structural heart conditions.
