About the role
- Provide virtual and in-person PAS and Front Office Reg Essentials Onboarding and Operations Training
- Collaborate with department leaders on onboarding and operations training content
- Lead PAS Registrations Essentials Onboarding Courses
- Administer ongoing training content for staff proficiency related to registration processes
- Maintain knowledge of insurance plans and billing requirements
- Mentor new-hire team members through remediation period
- Develop informational material to reduce registration errors
- Implement training programs to address deficiencies
- Review training surveys for improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle required
- CHAA, CPAR, CRCR, or CRCR-P certification required within 120 days of hire
- Computer/data entry experience
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of patient registration systems
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Cash handling and balancing experience.
- Typing or data entry competency of at least 40 words/minute
- Demonstrated professionalism, effective communication skills and active listening skills.
