About the role

  • Provides professional support in the administration of WellStar Health System compensation policies and procedures.
  • Conducts comprehensive analysis, summarizes information and develops recommended actions in support of compensation policies and procedures.
  • Administers the collection, consolidation and interpretation of data required by leadership.
  • Conducts complex market assessments and analysis; prepares recommendations and financial impact analyses.
  • Prepares and reviews market survey submissions and partners with external and internal resources as required.
  • Reviews job descriptions; analyzes positions for FLSA classification and salary grade recommendations.
  • Prepares reports, evaluations, and research regarding compliance issues and filings.
  • Provides compensation consulting to hiring leaders and guidance to facility human resources on compensation processes.
  • Develops and delivers compensation training to HR team members; conducts market research to inform system practices.
  • May manage annual processes such as merit increases and incentive payouts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience including job evaluation, pay equity analysis, data analysis, and survey completion.
  • Advanced Analytical capability.
  • Very Strong Verbal & Written Communication with comfort in public speaking.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with expert Excel skills and Access familiarity.
  • Project Management background helpful.
  • Experience with e-Prism and Lawson.
  • Strong Customer Service competency.
