Functions under the direction of the Manager Customer Service; assist with coverage for outbound and inbound calls, cash collection and final disposition of patient balances; optimize cash flow while delivering excellent customer service
Review and provide leadership with daily/weekly/monthly productivity reporting; assist with staff training; update policies, procedures, and job aids
Primarily responsible for guidance/training/escalation for staff in account management, customer service, cash collection and final resolution
Handle escalated calls as a first line of response; assist supervisor/manager as needed
Support special projects including reporting and quality assurance; participate in HIPAA-related educational updates
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of protected health information; comply with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; required education
