Business Development Strategist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for strategic territory development for WellSky's emergency department transition solutions
- Conduct market research to qualify opportunities
- Secure meetings with key stakeholders within the ED
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to transition opportunities from prospecting to closing
- Leverage multiple sales channels, including cold calls, email outreach, social media, and networking events
- Work with account executives and ED Transition program management team on regional-specific outreach projects
- Identify appropriate operational and leadership contacts within priority facilities
- Design, refine, and deliver effective go-to-market strategies that connect client needs with WellSky's value proposition
- Own the opportunity lifecycle management process by executing partnership deliverables
- Maintain working business knowledge of ED current events
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience
- Willing to travel up to 30% based on business needs
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
- Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
