About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications, APIs, automation solutions, and data pipelines supporting enterprise data platforms and services
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, architects, and business partners to deliver technology solutions
  • Support data integration and processing solutions that move, transform, and validate data across multiple systems
  • Assist with enterprise data governance, metadata, and data quality capabilities through technology solutions and automation
  • Analyze application, platform, and data-related issues and implement solutions
  • Participate in software testing, code reviews, deployments, and production support
  • Contribute to cloud-based and on-premises technology environments through development, monitoring, and operational support
  • Create and maintain technical, process, and knowledge documentation
  • Participate in Agile practices, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
  • Apply secure coding standards, engineering best practices, and enterprise technology policies
  • Use approved AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and M365 Copilot to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, and delivery outcomes
  • Participate in the two-year CODE Program, including training, mentorship, networking events, and career development activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 6+ months of experience through internships, co-ops, work experience, research projects, or academic projects developing software solutions using Python, Java, C#, or similar programming languages
  • 6+ months of experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
  • Experience building, testing, debugging, or maintaining software applications, APIs, automation solutions, or data processing workflows
  • 6+ months of experience using Git, GitHub, or similar version control tools in a collaborative development environment
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, APIs, data structures, algorithms, and secure coding practices
  • Experience with cloud technologies, data platforms, or distributed computing environments
  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT processing, data integration, and data quality management
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, M365 Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate technical issues or access-related concerns across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related field preferred but not required
  • Must be able to begin employment by October 25, 2026, in a full-time capacity
  • Must work from the designated posted office location and meet the current hybrid work schedule, including regular in-office attendance
  • Must actively participate in the two-year CODE Program
