About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive growth across the New Jersey market within Wells Fargo’s Middle Market Banking segment
- Develop, retain, and grow highly complex commercial banking client relationships
- Guide and influence relationship growth as a subject matter expert
- Lead complex cash flow, real estate loan, and industry-specific solutions by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, and coordinating internal stakeholders
- Lead strategy and resolution for complex commercial client solutions across the enterprise
- Develop long-term, large-scale client-specific solutions with product organizations
- Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise for Commercial Banking Relationship Management strategies
- Lead professionals and managers to improve processes and risk control and resolve client issues
- Represent Wells Fargo externally as a commercial banking expert and mentor less experienced colleagues
- Drive relationship planning, sales, and pipeline management activities
- Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management on client and market strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Proven success developing and growing commercial banking relationships with companies generating $100 million to $500+ million in annual revenue
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new client relationships and deliver sustained revenue growth in a highly competitive market
- Established network of business owners, CEOs, CFOs, private equity professionals, attorneys, accountants, and other influential centers of influence throughout New Jersey
- Strong knowledge of commercial banking and corporate banking products, including commercial lending, treasury management, capital markets, and risk management solutions
- Ability to structure and discuss complex financing solutions, acquisition financing, syndicated credit facilities, and treasury strategies with executive leadership teams
- Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Experience partnering across product, credit, and risk organizations to deliver sophisticated client solutions
- Demonstrated success managing complex client relationships and delivering integrated banking solutions to larger, more sophisticated companies
- Position requires on-site presence at one of the New Jersey offices: Paramus, Iselin, or Marlton
- Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
