About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Accurately process and approve teller transactions
Share digital solutions and make appropriate introductions to bankers
Complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies
Perform routine to moderately complex transactional, operational, and customer support tasks
Support the Branch manager with operational tasks and scheduling
Resolve daily teller-line operational issues under regional banking management direction
Support customers and employees by resolving or escalating concerns and complaints
Identify information and services to meet customers’ financial needs
Provide excellent service, build relationships, and complete requested transactions
Motivate a diverse team to achieve its potential and meet business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ year of customer service and issue resolution support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Ability to provide strong customer service while listening, eliciting information, and comprehending customer issues
Ability to educate customers about technology and mobile banking options
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees
Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and take appropriate preventive action
Cash handling experience
Well-organized, independent, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and adhere to policy guidelines
Relevant military experience may include personnel benefits management, military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources, or military recruiting
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
