About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers across a district
  • Drive district sales, deposits, credit, investment, customer relationship growth, and retention
  • Translate enterprise and regional strategy into branch-level routines and expectations
  • Build leadership capability, talent pipelines, development plans, and succession readiness
  • Plan workforce needs and ensure branches have appropriate staffing and leadership
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, Home Lending, and Operations
  • Monitor customer feedback and resolve escalated concerns
  • Use performance reporting and insights to identify opportunities and deliver measurable improvements
  • Manage risk, compliance, operational discipline, and change while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture
  • Travel regularly within the assigned geography, averaging 3–4 days per week
  • Work a schedule that may include Saturdays

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Proven success leading and developing people leaders through in-person and virtual engagement
  • Experience coaching managers on performance, talent decisions, accountability, and sustained business outcomes
  • Ability to drive growth and execute business strategies across multiple locations
  • Strong analytical and business acumen
  • Experience using performance insights to identify trends, diagnose opportunities, and guide measurable improvement
  • Experience building partnerships across functions and levels in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to lead through change and adapt priorities while maintaining execution and customer focus
  • Strong judgment, communication, and influence skills
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include Saturdays
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geography, averaging 3–4 days per week
