About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers and deepen existing relationships through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Provide comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews across life stages and financial needs
  • Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking to coordinate integrated solutions and convert opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues timely, and follow policies and regulations
  • Open accounts, handle service requests, and support everyday banking needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to proactively source, acquire, and deepen customer relationships through outreach and internal partnerships
  • Experience managing a book of business, documenting planning conversations, and following through across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Experience coaching or supporting peers
  • Clear and confident communication, empathetic listening, credibility, and trust-building
  • Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
  • 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams, or recognized equivalents, sufficient for immediate FINRA registration
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, or recognized equivalents, must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • SIE exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for certain listed states
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
