About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking colleagues to coordinate warm introductions and convert qualified opportunities
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options to increase digital adoption
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and establish follow-up plans
  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and adherence to policies and regulations
  • Build long-term customer partnerships through consultative banking and proactive outreach

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or recognized equivalents) required, active or completed within the designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) must be attempted within a specified period for Virginia hires
  • State Insurance license(s) required, active or completed within the designated timeframe
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Must satisfy LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards for financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
