About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the Commercial Auto West Region banking team
- Provide strategic leadership, product expertise, deal execution, and customer service for middle-market and mid-corporate customers
- Guide, influence, develop, retain, and grow complex and strategic client relationships
- Manage and develop Commercial Banking professionals in structuring, modifying, and renewing complex cash flow, floorplan lending, real estate, and industry-specific loans
- Lead financial analysis, client presentations, and stakeholder engagement
- Identify process-improvement and risk-control opportunities
- Resolve complex client issues and internal escalations while achieving business objectives
- Allocate people and financial resources across multiple areas
- Drive relationship planning, sales, and pipeline disciplines
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management on client and market needs and companywide strategies
- Lead the team in offering integrated banking solutions aligned with client needs
- Drive growth in middle-market and mid-corporate segments, GPL growth, referrals, equipment finance opportunities, and CIB fee growth
- Mentor less experienced individuals and develop talent
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Experience with CIB products and services
- Deep experience with GPL (Treasury Management) products and services
- Experience structuring highly complex credit profiles involving multiple products
- Must obtain and/or maintain appropriate FINRA license(s) for ongoing employment
- Must obtain FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or equivalent, within 180 days of hire if not transferable
- Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements
- Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
- Must successfully complete FINRA background screening and ongoing regulatory screening requirements
- 50% travel required
