About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult with business line and enterprise functions on less complex research
- Use functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools supporting strategic decision making
- Analyze findings and trends using statistical analysis and document processes
- Present recommendations to increase revenue, reduce expense, and maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance
- Identify business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations
- Participate in design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, storage, and processing
- Develop customized reports and ad hoc analyses and provide guidance to less experienced staff
- Ensure adherence to data management, data governance, compliance, and risk management requirements
- Collaborate with consultants and partners in technology and other business groups
- Develop business strategies driving growth, profitability, and competitive advantage
- Develop, test, analyze, and implement strategies aligned with financial objectives and macro-economic conditions
- Work with Technology, Product, Risk, and Operations teams to drive impact
- Develop and maintain enterprise automation dashboards
- Create reporting for automation health, utilization, incidents, availability, and operational performance
- Establish KPI and OKR reporting frameworks
- Track benefit realization and value delivery across the automation portfolio
- Design monitoring processes and operational scorecards
- Identify performance trends, risks, and emerging issues
- Maintain automation inventory and reporting repositories
- Create executive reporting packages for leadership reviews
- Develop Power BI dashboards and interactive reporting solutions
- Create operational health metrics and automated reporting processes
- Support governance reviews with actionable insights and data analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Background in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Management, or Operations desired
- Experience with Power BI, reporting automation, and dashboard development desired
- Strong SQL, data analysis, and visualization skills desired
- Experience building operational reporting frameworks from the ground up desired
- Ability to translate complex operational data into executive insights
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity while dealing with credit and operational problems
- Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
- Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills based on analytics
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and programming, including R, Python, SQL, and SAS
