About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and develop a reconciliation production team within Shared Services Operations
Develop staffing strategies and ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines
Engage stakeholders and internal partners across Operations
Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects
Identify process improvement and risk control opportunities and escalate issues
Provide training, performance evaluation, and coaching to less experienced team members
Make decisions and resolve resource, objective, and operational issues
Interpret and develop operational policies and procedures
Oversee budget and financial performance
Collaborate with and influence professionals at all levels, including experienced managers
Lead the team to achieve objectives
Manage allocation of people and financial resources
Mentor direct reports and assist with hiring talent
Ensure accurate and complete reconciliations and timely, accurate resolution of exception items across supported lines of business

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
2+ years of leadership experience
5+ years of previous experience with accounting general ledger reconciliations and researching exceptions
Process improvement and risk control experience
Experience interpreting and developing policies and procedures
Experience with reconciliation platforms such as Common Recon, Intellimatch, and EZ Ops
Knowledge and experience with system-of-record applications such as Hogan, SHAW, MSP, AFS, and LIQ
Prior experience within Consumer or Wholesale Operations
