About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
  • Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
  • Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs while maintaining service quality and bank standards
  • Build customer relationships through proactive conversations supporting financial well-being
  • Conduct discovery-driven conversations and connect customers with relevant banking products, services, and solutions
  • Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make referrals to meet customer and business goals
  • Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
  • Perform cash handling and teller line activities while maintaining compliance and operational standards
  • Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
  • Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls
  • Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or specialists

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography
  • Ability to commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
  • Ability to flex between cash handling and customer banking activities
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Must comply with Wells Fargo standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Credit report may be reviewed and additional ongoing screening may apply
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Prior financial services or highly regulated customer-facing experience desired
  • Experience building trust-based customer relationships desired
  • Comfort initiating customer outreach desired
  • Comfort with digital tools and ability to learn new systems desired
  • Ability to identify customer needs and make appropriate referrals desired
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners desired
  • Ability to follow policies and regulations and escalate risk concerns desired
