About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs while maintaining service quality and bank standards
Build customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach
Understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, solutions, and digital tools
Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities, promoting solutions, and making appropriate referrals
Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
Perform cash handling and teller line activities while accurately processing transactions
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and specialists

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Prior financial services or highly regulated customer-facing experience desired
Experience building trust-based customer relationships desired
Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels desired
Comfort with digital tools and technology and ability to learn new systems desired
Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions desired
Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners desired
Ability to follow policies and regulations and identify and escalate risk concerns desired
Ability to travel 100% of the time within assigned geography
Ability to commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of the assignment
Ability to work a schedule including Saturdays
Ability to flex between cash handling and customer banking activities
SAFE registration required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after start date
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
Must comply with Wells Fargo policies and standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
Credit report review and additional ongoing screening may apply
