About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of consumer and business customer relationships
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Drive balanced growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking colleagues to coordinate integrated solutions and warm introductions
  • Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking to improve satisfaction, engagement, and service efficiency
  • Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits
  • Document actions and establish follow-up plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues promptly, and follow policies and regulations
  • Work collaboratively in a branch environment to meet customer needs through appropriate referrals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach
  • Knowledge of book-of-business management, planning-conversation documentation, and follow-through
  • Experience recommending products and services for consumer and business customers
  • Ability to educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen empathetically, and build credibility and trust
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations or recognized equivalents, sufficient for immediate FINRA registration; licenses must be active or completed within the designated timeframe
  • SIE exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • Series 65 or equivalent required to be attempted within a specified timeframe in applicable states, including South Carolina
  • State Insurance license(s), active or completed within the designated timeframe
  • SAFE registration required at employment
  • Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays
  • Obtaining and maintaining required FINRA licenses is necessary for continued employment
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
