About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create process maps and update our current process map inventory.
- Develop and lead process design or improvement initiatives.
- Utilize process expertise for multiple business groups and provide data.
- Be responsible for completing integrated process analyses, identify procedural and control deficiencies, and recommend solutions.
- Work on complex problems involving process segments to identify risks, impacts, and opportunities.
- Consult with leaders to understand, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration.
- Effectively communicate relevant information to business partners and leadership.
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Interact with internal customers.
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of Process Engineering experience
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Experience creating, documenting, and maintaining business process maps and process inventories
- Hands-on experience using iGrafx for process modeling, process documentation, workflow analysis, and process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of business process management (BPM) methodologies and continuous improvement practices
- Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies, risks, control gaps, and recommend sustainable solutions
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, risk, and compliance requirements within business processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and consulting with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization, or operational excellence methodologies
