About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of teams of experienced engineers and engineering managers
  • Ensure adherence to the Banking Platform Architecture
  • Function as the technical representative for the product during cross-team collaborative efforts and planning
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for driving escalated resolution of technology roadblocks
  • Build engineering skills side-by-side in the codebase
  • Collaborate with, partner with and influence Product Managers/Product Owners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • 3+ years of Application development experience
  • Expert level with Microservices architectural patterns
  • Strong technical background building large scale performant systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment.
  • Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
