About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate executive strategy into actionable plans, priorities, milestones, and success measures.
- Establish and manage organizational objectives, key results, and performance reporting.

- Support Lead governance routines supporting leadership committees, risk committees, and executive reviews.
- Ensure alignment of organizational activities with enterprise governance standards.
- Develop executive communications for senior leadership, regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, operating reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Drive accountability for commitments, deliverables, and action plans.
- Support executive leadership during high-severity incidents, disruptive events, and crisis situations.
- Ensure adherence to incident governance, escalation, communication, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional executive communication during significant operational events.
- Oversee post-incident reviews, lessons learned activities, and remediation tracking.
- Identify recurring themes and systemic risks across incidents and operational disruptions.
- Provide leadership insight regarding resiliency, recovery readiness, and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure alignment across business resiliency, continuity planning, testing, recovery, and third-party resiliency initiatives.
- Coordinate enterprise-wide resiliency initiatives impacting CBL products, services, customers, and operations.
- Provide oversight of strategic resiliency enhancement programs and modernization efforts.
- Monitor resiliency performance indicators, risk metrics, and regulatory commitments.
- Support long-term resiliency strategy development and execution.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, and Regulatory Relations teams.
- Ensure organizational readiness for audits, reviews, examinations, and regulatory engagements.
- Coordinate responses to regulatory findings, audit issues, and corrective action plans.
- Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and enterprise policy changes.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness, accountability, and control effectiveness.
- Drive organizational communication, engagement, and employee experience initiatives.
- Support leadership succession planning and talent development activities.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and organizational alignment.
- Lead special projects requiring executive sponsorship and enterprise coordination.
- Serve as a connector and relationship manager across business and functional organizations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance routines, control environments, and regulatory expectations in a highly regulated industry
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution plans, measurable outcomes, and clear leadership-ready materials
- Experience coordinating executive priorities, governance routines, strategic initiatives, and complex cross-functional deliverables
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations, briefing materials, status updates, decision documents, and governance artifacts
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build alignment across a matrixed organization without direct authority
- Ability to identify emerging risks, execution gaps, incident themes, and systemic issues and recommend pragmatic mitigation strategies
- Experience supporting leadership during high-pressure, time-sensitive, or high-severity operational events
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, documentation quality, and follow-through
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to simplify complex information for senior audiences
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with supporting executive, incident, governance, or regulatory readiness activities as business needs require
