About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology
  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges
  • Oversee data integration work, maintain a data warehouse and analytics environment
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Apache Spark, ETL(Ab Initio/Informatica/Data Stage), DBMS(Teradata/SQL Server), Java/Python/Scala
  • 3+ years of Teradata and Unix experience
  • 2+ years of Data Engineering experience using Cloud Technologies, preferably with GCP
  • 2+ years of AI technology implementations
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile
  • 2+ years of experience using Database Tools: Teradata, Load / Unload Utilities, Big Query
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced SQL experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills using power query
  • Technical application support experience
  • Ability to act as a liaison between the client area and technical organization
