About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis
  • Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns, and external contractors
  • Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive advantage for Wells Fargo
  • Develop, test, analyze and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives relevant to macro-economic conditions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Tech, Product, Risk, Operations)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience
  • Experience with scripting languages to develop analytics automation
  • Strong skills using statistical/data science tools such as SAS, R, Python
  • Lead development of visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI
  • Experience with auto lending
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly recognize and resolve problems
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
