Coordinate, installation, support, and maintenance of network infrastructure with a focus on enterprise Business to Business (B2B) and third party network connectivity supporting Data Center exits into a new Data Center operating model
Provide technical support to end users via troubleshooting across both network and system applications commonly used within B2B and the financial industry
Coordinate, design, implement and validate in accordance with architectural design standards, implementation, and validation through best practices
Execute B2B designs and/or migrations during business approved change green-zones (non-business hours) and perform application validation before and after migration change windows
Use deep command line interface expertise in Cisco and Arista networking products to configure and validate devices
Coordinate, Design & Execute B2B network implementations and migrations via the Wells Fargo Service Now change control process
Proactively mitigate risk by addressing capacity or configuration concerns and participate in enterprise-level projects from an engineering perspective
Participate within an Agile methodology from a project management & engineering perspective across phases: Architectural Design, Technical Design Review & Approval, Migration Planning & Change Review/Approval, Implementation & testing with Operational turnover
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers, and internal customers to identify requirements and resolve issues
Exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Responsible for design, reviewing, implementing, testing/validating, and researching industry best practices
Requirements
4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environment
2+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, Static) in a large enterprise environment
2+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching latest platforms and solutions - Cisco Nexus and/or Arista product line
CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred - Datacenter
Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering (desired)
Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams
Experience with scripting YAML/Python/Ansible/GITHUB
Experience working in a Product/Agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products
Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship building skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional
Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration
Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment
Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues
Ability to coordinate, document and drive flawless execution
Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
