About the role

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships through the art of relationship management, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers
  • Lead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and certain other industry specific solutions within Commercial Banking
  • Review, understand, and offer the full suite of complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle to senior level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback and recommendations to leadership
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues and identify opportunities for process improvements and risk control enhancements

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Commercial Banking account relationship management experience with clients with annual sales revenue up to $100MM (Desired)
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices
  • Experience leveraging Treasury Management products and services
  • Established local in-market network with demonstrated knowledge of the South Florida market (Desired)
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes, and mitigating risk issues
  • Experience consistently delivering strong sales performance
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Completion of formal credit training program (Desired)
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
