About the role
- Lead architecture efforts for the bank's large scale ServiceNow platform and guide other shared services applications and initiatives
- Manage and develop teams of architects to develop portfolio, product and product area architecture covering current, interim and target states
- Provide expertise in using the ServiceNow platform and help colleagues at all levels understand the platform's capabilities and operations
- Lead the design, development and curation of the ServiceNow platform
- Serve as lead architect for approximately 85 applications in the Enterprise Shared Services portfolio
- Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
- Develop and influence Enterprise Shared Services Technology strategic plans and execution on cutover strategies to target
- Review designs created by other groups/resources for alignment with best practices
- Work closely with product managers and agile teams in defining UI, data model and integration requirements
- Create architectural artifacts influential in driving the organization and communicate companywide architecture strategy and direction
Requirements
- 6+ years of technology architecture and engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years working with the ServiceNow platform
- 3+ years working with large data repositories
- 2+ years working with ServiceNow CMDB
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- Advanced ability to define and document architectural solutions and present these to senior executives and other leaders
- Ability to manage stakeholders and work under time constraints
- Proven track record in delivering complex technical products in the ServiceNow ecosystem
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
