About the role

  • Serve as a Technology Security Architect leading generative AI initiatives within Consumer Technology, Digital Technology, and Control Management
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams across multiple organizations to design, develop, and establish controls for artificial intelligence systems
  • Modernize and automate controls for existing platforms within the firm
  • Act as an advisor to more experienced leaders in developing risk mitigation strategies for complex and highly integrated business specific risk across different business lines
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report impact of decisions and business controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex current and emerging risks requiring in depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise on implementing innovative and significant business solutions for highly complex risks associated with business operations
  • Lead and mentor Control Management project or virtual teams
  • Engage with all levels across the business group and serve as an experienced advisor in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and controls that mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services Industry experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Demonstrable experience with cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, and secure software development practices
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java
  • Experience in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with securing AI/ML pipelines, including data integrity, model confidentiality, and adversarial robustness
  • Experience with distributed architectures e.g. microservices, SaaS architecture
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications in AI environments
  • Experience leading and mentoring project or virtual teams
  • Ability to work onsite per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in one of the listed locations
