About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery.
  • Drive execution and be accountable for all work coming out of the scrum team.
  • Ensure stories, tasks, and defects meet Jira Hygiene standards.
  • Lead feature refinement sessions to understand the problem, develop high-level solutions, and identify potential dependencies.
  • Ensure user stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Leverage Jira reporting to monitor team performance and board health.
  • Accept user stories after they have met the acceptance criteria and definition of completion.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Influence and contribute to the capability roadmap development process.
  • Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs, and initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 4 + years of experience with Agile methodology of project delivery
  • Knowledge and understanding of Merchant Services in the financial services industry.
  • Experience writing requirements for stories and working with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence and/or Jira.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to proactively identify roadblocks and develop recommendations for unforeseen issues in production, change requests, etc.
  • Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity.
